  • Plato is a Greek philosopher and mathematician, author of philosophical dialogues and founder of the Platonic Academy in Athens, the first high school in the western world 
  •  Plato was the teacher of Aristotle. His most famous work in the Republic (in Greek Polytheia, or "country") in which contains the outline of his outlook on the state of "ideal". He also wrote 'The Law' and the many dialogues in which Socrates was a major participant. One of Plato's famous parables is the parable of the people in the cave.

  •  Little is known about the early life and education of the Plato.Ia is the Philosopher who came from one of the family in Athens and most politically active.
  •  Ancient sources describe him as a simple ordinary child despite excelling in his studies

  •  Socratic    
 In the works written in his youth, Plato always     displays Socrates' personality and essay as the main     topic of his essay.
  •  Shaped dialogue   
 Almost all Plato's works are written in a dialogue     tone. In Sura VII, Plato argues that pens and inks     freeze true thinking written in letters that are silent
  • The existence of my myths   
  Plato uses myths to explain his abstract and supernatural teachings

 Plato's View of Art and Beauty
  • Plato's view of art is influenced by his view of ideas. His attitude to artwork is very clear in his Politeia (Republic).  
  •  Plato's understanding of beauty influenced his understanding of the sensory world, contained in Philebus. Plato argues that the real beauty lies in the world of ideas
